Frank E. Schipp, 73, Anderson, died July 19, 2002 at Methodist Hosptial-Indianapolis after an unexpected illness. He was born October 10, 1928 in Jasper, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. He was a resident of this area since 1963. He retired from Sears in 1991 as a salesman. He was a graduate of Jasper High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Markleville North Christian Church, the Elks Lodge Aerie #209, the US Golf Association and was a ranger at Grandview Golf Course.
He is survived by his his wife whom he married on March 14, 1980, Bonnie Smith Schipp; seven children Mike & wife Vicki Schipp of Michigan, David & wife Julie Schipp of Carmel, Cindy & husband Dan Rector of Anderson, Linda Schipp of Anderson, Robert & wife Starletta Schipp of Anderson, Ted & wife Regena Schipp of Markleville and Kirk & wife Pam Albohr-Ray of Fishers; one brother Ron & wife Emma Schipp of Jasper; two sisters, Sister Annette Schipp of Indianapolis and Dorothy & Jim Thomas of Henderson, Kentucky; nineteen grandchildren Amy Schipp and Cherie Schipp of Michigan, Jessica & husband Adam Wilson of Wisconsin, Bethany & Rob Owens of Florida, Hannah Schipp of Anderson, Ethan Schipp, Nicholas Schipp and Emily Schipp of Carmel, Bradley Rector, Stacey Rector and Danielle Rector of Anderson, Megan Schipp of Anderson, Sarah Schipp and Holly Schipp of Pennsylvania, Broderick Schipp and Joseph Schipp of Anderson, Merideth Boldman and Audrey Boldman of Anderson, Alanna Albohr-Ray of Fishers, Courtney Jeffries and Gregory Jeffries of Anderson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Joseph & Anna Marie Wilmes Schipp, two brothers, Jim Schipp and Bobby Schipp, a sister Mary Schipp, one daughter Rayna Lephart and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Martha & Harold Smith.
