Frank Baron died peacefully on December 3rd in Bridgeport, CT at the age of 88. Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Foster Baron, his son David Baron and his wife Ginni, his daughter Patricia Charles and her husband Keith; a daughter-in-law, Bettina Baron, and his sister Jean P. Ahlberg. He was predeceased by his son, Paul. Frank loved being with his 7 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Frank was born on Christmas Day in 1926 in Bridgeport, to Carol and Anna Baron.

He was the “baby brother” of 4 older sisters, Florence, Dorothy, Carol and Jean. He graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School in Fairfield in 1944. Frank served in World War II as an Army Scout in Okinawa and later in Korea. He attended Clarkson University studying Chemical Engineering. Frank and Ruth made their home in Monroe where they had three children, Paul, Pat and David. They moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in 1963. Frank and the family returned to Fairfield in 1968 when he started the Trumbull business Baron Technology Inc. in 1982 until retiring in 2012.

Frank was an active ham radio operator and a member of the Fairfield Amateur Radio Association. He was past president of the Radio Control Club of CT, a model airplane group serving the Bridgeport area. He was president of the Photo Chemical Machining Institute (PCMI) and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bridgeport Symphony.
