Frank Claiborne “Bubba” Andrews, Jr., age 58, a native and longtime resident of Eight Mile, died Monday, August 25, 2014 in a local hospital. Frank was a graduate of Vigor High School and a former employee of Knapp Construction and Clark Life of Alabama where he worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was an avid sports fan, his hobbies included coaching his children in little league sports, hunting, fishing, playing cards, racing, shooting pool, and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Debra Delone Andrews, his parents, Frank (Janette) Andrews, Sr., and a brother, Charles Andrews. He is survived by three sons, Stevie West, Dewayne (Holly) Wallace, and William (Shekindah) Wallace, two sisters, Carolyn (Gerald) Harris and Sharon (Tim) Helveston, eight grandchildren, Anthony (Lindsay) Swann, Debra (Coy) Walser, Aaron Chamblis, Brittany (Lee) Hansens, Garrett Whatley, Katelyn Wallace, Kirstyn Wallace, and Brein Wallace, great grandchildren, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
