Frank Birchbauer, 90, of Sullivan, OH and formerly of Milwaukee, WI, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Akron General Hospital.

Born on May 9, 1925 in Milwaukee to the late Frank and Louise (Strasser) Birchbauer, Frank graduated from Boys Technology and Trade High School in Milwaukee. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WW II from Sept. 1, 1943 – Nov. 11, 1945 and married the love of his life, the former Marilyn June Daugherty who preceded him in death in 2002. He retired from Graybar Electrical Supplies in Milwaukee and move to Ohio in February 2016 to live with his son and daughter-in-law. He was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and enjoyed golfing, hunting and attending the Senior Center where he loved to play cards.

Surviving are his two sons including, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cass Birchbauer of Sullivan, OH; son and his girlfriend, Brad Birchbauer and Teresa of Itasca, IL; grandchildren, Brandon (Erica) Birchbauer, Kyle (Logan) Birchbauer, Cory (Marlana) Birchbauer, David Birchbauer, Kristin (Jake) Senk, Grant Birchbauer and Cassidy Gorham and great-grandchildren, Adalee and Violet Birchbauer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, a brother, Fritz and a sister, Louise Anderson.
