Frank Amato, 66, of 315 Eastern St., New Haven passed away on Jan. 15, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born in New Haven April 22, 1947, he was the son of the late Gabriel and Lora “Connie” DeMaio Amato. He was a resident of 123 Blatchley Ave. for many years. He is survived by two sons, Gabe Amato and Frank “Cheech” Amato, both of New Haven; one sister, Catherine Pethick of East Haven; three grandchildren, Natassia Parlato, Christopher and Alicia Amato; as well as several nephews.
