Frank Allen Dinkins was born May 10, 1940 in Sumter, South Carolina to Edith M.

He attended Cambridge High & Latin School where he graduated Class of 1959. Frank took courses at Fisher Junior College Boston.

 

 

 

 

In 1965 his first child, Troy Allen Dinkins, was born and his daughter, Debra Ann Dinkins, was born in 1970.   He and his wife built their home in Malden in 1968 where they lived until his passing.

 

 

For fun he participated in winter and summer bowling leagues. He was an exceptional bowler. He did the New York Times crossword puzzles ”in ink”; loved putting together jigsaw puzzles (some 3000 pieces; getting coffee with a friends; watching Boston sports, and shopping for new movies or entertainment. His daughter Debbi could often be found at his side putting jigsaw puzzles together. Frank loved to read and watch the History and National Geographic channels on TV. And just hanging out with his friend Richard discussing  sports and world politics. He was an avid collector of movies from a kid and kept a collection of films from Laserdisc to Blu Ray. As a kid he enjoyed collecting trading cards and playing basketball, two things he grew to love forever.

 

Frank departed this life on Saturday, November 13, 2021, a month after his 59th wedding anniversary. He was a loving devoted husband, father, grandfather and over all individual who truly loved his family.

 

 Frank was predeceased by his mother the late Edith M.
