Francisco Mata, age 80, of Bridgeport, died July 2, 2006, in Bridgeport Health Care. Mr. Mata was born in Havanna, Cuba and was a longtime area resident. He was a bartender for the Westchester Country Club, a member of the Senior Citizen Center in Rye Brook, N.Y. and an avid traveler. He was predeceased by his wife, Ela Parra Mata. Survivors include two sons, Frank and his wife, Darlene Mata of Shelton and Robert and his wife, JoAnn Mata of Trumbull; one daughter, Ela Mata-Arzubi and her husband, Eric Arzubi of Weston, two sisters in Cuba, and eight grandchildren, Cristina Mata, Frank Mata Jr., Robert Mata, Toni Mata, Alison Mata, Mark Mata, Nathalia Mata-Arzubi, and Katya Mata.
