Francisco De La Garza
January 4, 1932 – July 28, 2022
Francisco De La Garza, age 90, entered into eternal rest Thursday July 28, 2022 at Treasure Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was a lifelong resident of Harlingen born January 4, 1932 son to Amado Garza and Olivia Garcia Renaud.
He loved to fish and be outdoors. He had a love for nature and animals. Francisco had a heart of gold, he was a hard worker and very knowledgeable man; he liked fixing boat engines and could repair just about anything that needed fixing. He also enjoyed to gamble, billiards and cars, especially Classic Car shows. He will always be remembered for his love as a father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.
Francisco is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Maria Socorro M. De La Garza, and his only brother, Tito De La Garza.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his children, Yolis De La Garza, Rudy De La Garza (Esther), Marina De La Garza, Olivia Martinez (Joe), Louie Elul De La Garza (Melissa) and Vicky De La Garza (Alejandro Martinez); 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
