Francisco Cruz Jr., 70, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Harlingen Medical Center.
He was born on July 9, 1947 in Harlingen, Texas to Francisco, Sr. Cruz & Maria Guadalupe Saldana Cruz. Francisco served his country proudly in the United States Army, and served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War. He loved hanging out with family & friends, playing pool, cards and dominos.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco, Sr. & Maria Guadalupe Cruz; two sisters, Eva & Alma Cruz; brother, Perfecto “Guero” Cruz; and two nephews, Ray Camacho & the late Rudy Camacho.
Francisco is survived by his three children, Gabriel Cruz, Michael Cruz, & Terry Cruz; several grandchildren; siblings, Juanita Cantu (Jesus), Joe Cruz, Terry Camacho, Jesus “Jesse” Cruz (Mary), & Dolores Fuentes (Roy); and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, & friends.
