METHUEN – Francis “Frank” Michael Troianello, DMD, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2019, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family and Frank’s Maltese, Tia Maria, his beloved constant companion.
Frank was born August 31, 1941, to John and Virginia Troianello. He is survived by Susan Martin, his former wife and devoted caregiver; son Chris and his wife Jess of California; loving sister Joyce Peters and husband Wayne of Florida; niece Dawn and husband David Weinstein and family of Cambridge; nephew Jonathan Peters of Atlanta; cousins Cyndi and Joe Camaratta, and Lisa Pizzano of New Hampshire.
He was a graduate of Phillips Academy, class of 1959. Frank then went on to graduate from Tufts University in 1963 and later Tufts Dental in 1966. He also served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy until 1969.
Frank practiced dentistry in Methuen for 48 years. Devoted to his patients, he was known as “Dr. T., the painless dentist” and was a member of the American Dental Association. He also served on the Methuen School Committee from 1970-1976.
He was an avid New England sports fan and also loved golfing, boating and skiing. Frank will be greatly missed.
