Waterbury – Francis Nonamaker, 73, of Midfield Dr., died October 14, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was the widower of Patricia (Saunders) Nonamaker.
Mr. Nonamaker was born January 18, 1935 in Waterbury, CT, to the late Frederick and Helen (Flynn) Nonamaker.
He was a graduate of Leavenworth High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and the Waterbury Lodge of Elk’s #265. Frank worked for many years for ABF Freight as a Regional Sales Manager and was past President of the Bridgeport Traffic Association. He spent his free time golfing and was a founding member of the East Mountain Men’s Golf Association.
He is survived by his companion Kathleen Eibensteiner of Waterbury, two sons, David and his wife Kim Nonamaker of Waterbury, Robert and his wife Rhonda Nonamaker of Wolcott, a daughter, Fran and her husband Thomas Pistilli of Waterbury, two brothers George Nonamaker of Tulsa Oklahoma, Jerry Nonamaker of Waterbury, seven grandchildren; Christina Almeida, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Elizabeth, Alyssa, Paige and Dylan Nonamaker and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Noreen Birch and Dorothy Affe, a brother; Frederick Nonamaker and a grandson David Nonamaker Jr. He will be truly missed by many.
