Francis Joseph Rosenthal Jr., of Oak Crest Village, died peacefully with family at his side on March 12 2016 following a brief illness while vacationing in his long-time second home of Naples Florida. He was 78. Born June 11, 1937 in Baltimore, Frank was the son of the late Francis J. Rosenthal Sr. and the former Margaret M. Curran.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Arlene J. Rosenthal (nee Citroni), three adoring children and their spouses; Francis J. Rosenthal III (Dorothy) of Reisterstown, Michael G. Rosenthal (Mary Jo) of Charlotte, NC, and Gina Rosenthal Stearns (John) of Naples FL. He was the proud grandfather of Francis J. Rosenthal IV, Mary Dean, Laura Cox, Lauren Stearns, Katie Gialenios, Jack Rosenthal, Paul Stearns, Matt Rosenthal and Betsy Rosenthal.
He was blessed to have known three great-grandchildren; Francis J. Rosenthal V, Lucy Rosenthal and Madalena Dean.
