Francis J. Bedics, Sr., 91, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 in Gracedale. He was the husband of the late Lila M. Bedics. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Oravec) Bedics. He served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946 in World War II. Francis was worked for the Bethlehem Steel as a chain man for 32 before retiring. Survivors: sons, Francis J. Bedics, Jr. of Allentown, John M. Bedics and William J. Bedics of Bethlehem Township, and Michael J. Bedics of Bethlehem; daughter, Marie Macchia of Suisun, CA.
