Rev. Msgr. Francis G. BoeshansAugust 2, 1925-September 1, 2010In his 62 years of priestly ministry, Msgr. Francis G. Boeshans exemplified the mandate to live “not to be served but to serve.” He was Consultor for two archbishops-Archbishop Hannan and Archbishop Schulte, plus, in the beginning of Father’s priesthood, Archbishop Rummel appointed him assistant CCD director of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, serving under then Msgr. Gerald Frey. During that tenure, he directed the Junior Newman Clubs of the entire Archdiocese, until the program was discontinued in 1962 by Archbishop .
