Francis Floyd Walters passed away on June 12, 2022. Born May 18, 1929 to Frank and Florence Walters in Otsego, MI, he joined a family that would grow to include eight children. On October 9, 1954, he married Gloria Washburn from Kalamazoo. Francis served in the US Army occupational force in the European theatre and was a 33-year employee of the Upjohn Company. In retirement, he was an avid golfer.
Francis is survived by son & daughter-in-law Brian & Linda Walters of Amherst, NH; son and daughter-in-law Bradley and Laura Walters of Mattawan, MI; grandchildren Laura, Ian (Gena), Kailee (Alejo), Trevor (Mara), Kylie; great-grandchildren, Eli and Jackson; and many nieces & nephews. Surviving siblings include Vivian Reed and Lou (Ned) Sutherland. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Gloria; parents Frank and Florence; and siblings Marian, Ethel, Harris, Beatrice, Carl, and Katherine.
