Francis F. Moy, May 22, 1943 – November 14, 2012.

Francis F. Moy, 69, of Belton. Mr. Moy passed away at his home, November 14, 2012, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Mr. Moy was born May 22, 1943, to John J. and Mary M. (Sturm) Moy in Uvalde. He grew up in Blanco as a young boy, later moving to Belton and attending Belton High School. He served in the Army National Guard for six years. He became a lifelong butcher, later opening Moy’s Meat Market in Manchaca, Texas before returning to Belton in 2009.

He was a Christian and attended the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Belton. He married Helen Maxine Kelley, March 21, 1965 in Belton. After family, his greatest loves were traveling and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John Moy Jr. and Anthony Moy, and sister Mary Neary. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Helen Maxine Moy of Belton, son Mark A. Moy of Wimberly, daughter Lorrie A. Pilkinton and husband Pete of Lexington; two brothers, Mike Moy and Robert Moy of New Braunfels; four sisters Isabella Meckel and Pat Clark of New Braunfels, Joanna Weaks of Temple and Leona Catchings of Seguin; two grandsons Sebastian and Alexander Moy of Germany.
