Francis F. Bathauer, 88, of Anderson, passed away on November 22, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on February 28, 1932, in Anderson, the son of Samuel and Cora (Whipple) Bathauer. Francis proudly served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from Anderson High School and earned a B.A. degree from Anderson College. Francis had worked as a carpenter most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, music, and nature; but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Francis was a long-time member of Park Place Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Wanda (Freeby) Bathauer; daughters, Kathy (Dave) Baker, Nancy McCoy, and Becky Bathauer; sister, Ruby Morris; dear family friend, Julie Morse; and several nieces and nephews.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Bernard Bathauer, Orpha DuBois, Natalie Dean, and Gene Bathauer.
