Francis E. “Frank” Henderson, a United States Army Veteran of WWII and longtime resident of Stoughton passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was 94 years old and the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Neta D. (Field) Henderson. He is survived by his loving children, Frances Schwartz and husband Robert of Sharon, Jacqueline Hines and husband Ralph of Holliston, Vivian Teague and husband James of Harwich and Ross Henderson and wife Susan of Stoughton. Other survivors include his 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also a brother to the late Arthur Henderson, Roger Henderson and Virginia Burgess.
Born May 18, 1923 in Concord, New Hampshire Frank was a son to late Ross Linn and Vivien (Toof) Henderson. Mr. Henderson proudly served his country as a Teletype Mechanic with the United States Army during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945 with the rank of Corporal. He attended schools in Penacook, New Hampshire as well as Bentley College and Northeastern University. He was self- employed as a CPA with his own business Francis E. Henderson CPA in Stoughton,MA for over 40 years. He was also a former Corporator at the Randolph Savings Bank in Stoughton Franks hobbies included playing the bugle and his love of animals, especially horses and dogs was unmatched.
