  • Date Of Birth: 1942
  • Date Of Death: 2022
  • State: Massachusetts

Frank was born on November 13, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY.  After graduating high school in Long Island, he joined the Army and served honorably, receiving the rank of first lieutenant.  He became a Texan when he married Susan Hobbes and raised his two daughters Holly and Sharley.  He owned and ran his own automotive shop, a trusted community institution in Arlington, Texas, for decades after that.

Those who knew Frank knew he was a quiet but loyal man. While he considered himself a Texan, Frank let his daughter Holly know that he could solve any problem she would encounter, because as a former New Yorker, he always “knew a guy. . . ”   He had three loves in life aside from his family – fishing, softball, and eating.  For many years Frank was an infielder on the Texas Legends, a nationally ranked senior softball team that toured the country playing in regular tournaments for many years. He spent weekend hours teaching his daughters to fish on Lake Whitney, close to their home.

Frank will always be remembered by those who knew him for his work ethic, quick wit, generosity, and tenacity.
