Francis A. “Fran” Lamb, 82, of Jones, died Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo. He was born August 29, 1928 in Kalamazoo to Otis and Anna (Maas) Lamb. He married Millie Seager in Indiana on August 8, 1950.
She survives. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father and grandfather. He greatly enjoyed his hobbies of golfing and bowling. He was a cabinet builder at American Coach Company, Cassopolis, and Skyline Corporation, Elkhart, Indiana.
Fran is survived by his wife Millie (Seager) Lamb of Jones; one daughter, Sandra (Mark) Tucker of Middlebury, Indiana; one son, Gary (Gail) Lamb of Three Rivers; four grandchildren, Missy (Tim) Lake of Petoskey, Cassie Fuller of Kalamazoo, Cody Lamb and Tory Lamb, both of Three Rivers; three great grandchildren, Timmy and Jordyn Lake, and Gabriel Lamb; and one brother, Robert (Shirley) Lamb of Dowagiac.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, MaryLynn Ledbetter; and one brother, Otie Lamb.
