Francis “Frank” Gorski, 92, of Fountain Hill passed away peacefully on December 5, 2016 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem.
Frank was married to Helen (Miklos) Gorski for 64 years until her death in 2012.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Morrison) Gorski. He graduated from Bethlehem Catholic High School and proudly served at sea in the US Navy during World War II. Frank worked as a machinist at the former General Electric in Allentown and at Hellertown Manufacturing Company for 50 years before retiring.
Frank was a member of St. Ursula’s Roman Catholic Church in Fountain Hill, where he served as an usher for many years. Frank and Helen were both members of the Golden Hillers Club.
Frank is survived by sons Richard of Allentown and Mark of San Diego, as well as, a brother Alexander Jr., of Bethlehem, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sons Chris, who died in 1972, Tim who passed away in 2011, as well as a sister Elizabeth.
