Francine Lorraine LaPlant Standing Rock, 56, passed away at Northern Montanan Hospital on July 7th.
Francine was born February 23, 1956 to Mary Lorraine Devereauz & Francis LaPlant Jr. In Arizona. She was always re-educating herself in her nursing degree and was always studying to get above and beyond. She attended various colleges and universities, most recently studying to be a trauma nurse, pasing her test with pride. Francine worked in Havre, Brodus, Glasgow, and numerous places throught the state during her nursing career.
Francine had many interest, she enjoyed cooking, making cakes and pies, beading and sweing, telling old stories, and making food experiments. She also enjoyed traveling watching the Food Network and Grey’s Anatomy and was fairly well known for her ability to super glue and staple everything.
She married Duncan Standing Rock, Sr. in Rocky Boy in 1995 and he survives. Also Surviving is her children Irene (Dale) Marceau, Doranda ” Annie” Standing Rock, Nicole Standing Rock, Allison Campbell; numerous brothers and sisters, grandchildren Donovan Last Star, Loren Michael Heavy Runner, Dale Marceau Jr. David Marceau II, Talia Laron-Shaday Marceau, Tyler Marceau, many adopted children, numerous step children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, with special acknowledgement to her friends Irene Harrell, and Cleo Main, all of the Bullshoe’s, all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and adopted friends and family.
