Francine DiLella Giannotti, 91, formerly of 64 French Ave., East Haven passed away on Nov. 21, 2013 in Hartford Hospital. She was the widow of Edward R. Giannotti Sr. Mrs. Giannotti was born in New Haven on April 27, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Cucinelli DiLella. She was well known as the owner operator of Francine’s Beauty Shop at Dixwell and Putnam Avenues in Hamden. Prior to that, she operated a shop in New Haven. She is survived by her brother, Rudolph (Midge) DiLella of Branford; and a sister, Mary (Joseph) Colella of Las Vegas, NV. And many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph DiLella, her twin sisters, Frances DiLuigi and Concetta “Tina” Daurio; and her beloved aunt, Josephine Cucinelli.
