Francie Mae Jefferson Banks, at the youthful age of 101, transitioned with the sunset on Monday, January 30, 2023, after a brief stay at the University of Maryland, Capital Regional Medical Center, in Largo, Maryland. She leaves to cherish her memory three loving son’s – Robert T. Banks, Francis L. Banks(Rachel), Edward Banks(Paula), son-in-law, Robert Pennix(Joan), and a devoted daughter – Phyllis Ann Moore(Joseph). In addition to children, Francie’s love extended to her bonus daughters Barbara Johnson of Lynchburg, Va., and Ethel Curry of Washington, D.C.
