At Eighty eight years of age Frank DiMaria

Peacefully passed away on June 21st 2022, in Boca Raton, FL, he is survived by his son Guy, daughter Rosaly and her husband Gerard, grandsons Francesco, Marco and his wife Olivia.

Frank was born in Palermo, Sicily October 28th, 1933 to Gaetano and Rosalia DiMaria. He grew up during a time of war and of peace. His was and is a close knit family that instilled his values, his faith and sense of duty to his fellow man.

Since early on in his life his main focus was in the wellbeing of his immediate and extended family. He demonstrated such devotion to his parents and to his siblings always being their protector. Frank was the youngest of six children.

Frank was a hard worker since he was 13 years old. Family circumstances left him having to leave school and go to work to help support his family. Once his family was better situated Frank decided to go into the world and make his mark. He came to the United States when he was 27 years old. His perseverance and hard work opened doors of opportunity. With each endeavor his successes grew. 

During this time he met and fell in love with Angela Paci and asked her to be his wife.

Once Frank was established in south Florida, he became an icon in the area. He would help so many people in need. There was nothing he wouldn’t do to help the needy. Frank surrounded himself with people of character and people who were characters themselves! He loved soccer and would hold memorable parties when Italy played. When Italy won the World Cup he led a parade of over a mile long around town flying the Italian and American Flags with such pride. He loved passing the time playing his Italian cards with games of scopa and briscola. He knew the rich and powerful and humble and strong. He fit in anywhere he went. He respected everyone and everyone respected him.

Frank, we will miss your smile and your heart dearly. You have touched so many lives and we’re eternally grateful to have known and loved you.
