Francesca Maria Campisi , 71, of Scottsdale, AZ. went home to be with the Lord on September 18, 2011. Francesca was a devoted & caring wife, a mother, nonna and great grandmother. She is survived by loving husband Francesco of 55 years, daughter Vita, sons Gaspare (wife Jennifer), Joseph and Frank (wife Darcy), 7 grand children and 3 great grand children. Francesca was one of five children born in Bisacquino, province of Palermo, Sicily. Francesca and husband, Francesco immigrated to Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1957 where hard work enabled them to live their American dream from Brooklyn and Queens N.Y. to New Jersey and AZ. She is predeceased by daughter Sarah, mother Sarah, older brothers, Joseph and Albert Venezia survived by younger brother, Pasquale (wife Elizabeth) and sister Vita (sister in law, Concetta & Catharina). Francesca enjoyed making her homemade cookies, tomato sauce and pizzas from scratch.
