Southbury, Francesann S. Fairbairn, of Southbury, died on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital, surrounded by her family after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Ms. Fairbairn was born on November 7, 1942 in New Haven to the late Anne (Simiola) Sapiente and the late Anthony Sapiente. Francesann was dean of the State Academy of Hairdressing from 1966 to 1969. She also pursued a career as a local real estate agent in Southbury for 20 years.
