Mrs. Frances Wortham Goodrum, 82, of Asheville, NC, formerly of Newnan passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born November 14, 1939 in Newnan to the late Roy Lee Wortham & Louise Harp Wortham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James “Cap” Jefferson Goodrum, III. Frances grew up in Newnan where she graduated from Newnan High School. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Education. Frances was a teacher at Atkinson Elementary School for many years.
