Mrs. Frances Wolfe Yankosky, age 90, of Nutter Fort, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab.
Frances was born on March 1, 1924 in Fish Creek, WV a daughter of the late James and Bertie Shepherd Wolfe. She was a member of Vincent Memorial and was a member of United Methodist Women for over 50 years; worked as a beautician for 62 years where she owned and operated Frances Beauty Shop in Nutter Fort, loved spending time with her family and friends, golfing, church activities and cooking, and those who had the privilege to eat her food knew she was an excellent cook. She was very kind hearted and loved helping others.
She is survived by her 2 sons and daughters-in-law; Dwight and Tina Yankosky, of Bridgeport and John and Julie Yankosky, of NC; 4 grandchildren, Olivia Yankosky, Kay Yankosky, Alyssa and Drew Skasik, and Kristin Yankosky; several nieces and nephews also survive who knew her as “Aunt Ick”
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Yankosky, 4 sisters, Mary Gatts, Arlene Yoho, Iona Brodengeyer, June Baer; infant brother, James Edward Wolfe; and infant granddaughter, Ashley Yankosky.
