Mrs. Mary Frances Underwood, 92, of New Market, passed away on Thursday.
She was born and lived her entire life on her family’s farm in the Walnut Grove Community of Madison County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Virgil Underwood; Her parents, Henry & Estelle Howard Taylor; Her sons-in-law, John Carriger and Arnold Poole; Her granddaughter, Laura Carriger Bunn; Her siblings: Norma Satterfield, John Henry Taylor Jr, and Carlos Taylor;
Surviving family members include her children, Gayle Poole, Belinda and Glenn Quick, and Dayle Underwood; Her grandchildren: Dana Shields, Terri Davis, Chuck Quick, Bobby Jo Underwood, Kasey Parsons and Julia Underwood; Her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jon Shields, Taylor Carriger, Rylee Bunn, Cody Moyers, Brock Davis, Dawson and Payton Quick, Taylor Ray and Breanna Underwood, Madison and Montanna Lowe and Mekhi and Nileah Underwood. She is also survived by several great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
