Frances R. Bottone, age 100, of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, June 15, 2011. She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Bottone. Born on March 4, 1911 in Pittsfield, MA, Frances was the daughter of the late Daniel and Teresa Puchella Christopher and had resided in Norwalk for most of her life. She loved to crochet and spend time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Peter Bottone and his wife Dorothy of Bethel, a sister, Elizabeth Mayhew, 7 grandchildren, Richard and Nancy King, Susan King Sanger, Katherine Bottone Ruff, Marcia Bottone Sampson, Mary Ellyn Bottone Lehner and Larry Bottone, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Frances was also predeceased by her daughter Joan King, brothers Dominick, Philip, Quinto and Americo Christopher, and her sister Rose Spinola.
