Mrs. Frances Powell, age 77, of Lanett, AL passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at EAMC Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, AL.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her husband, Warren Powell: her two daughters, Margie (Jim) Chapple, and Hope Powell; her son, Ben Powell; her sister-in-law, Sue Brantley; her brother-in-law, John Powell; her five grandchildren, Brynn Dyas, Josh Chapple, Amanda Rutland, Bud Scott, and Brandy Byess; her four great grandchildren, Daniel Uptain, Kaleigh Rutland, Kole Rutland, and Sydney Scott.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chris Powell Scott.
Mrs. Powell was born on June 29, 1939 in Herrin, IL. She was a member of Capital Heights Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL.
