On August 30, 2022, God called his beloved daughter, Frances Scott Young home. She was born on March 25, 1946 in Morgan County, AL to the late Robert Scott and Jimmy Lee Stover Scott.
Frances loved the Lord and was a faithful mother at Morning Glory Church of Athens until her sickness became too much. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her dear family members that preceded her in death: her beloved parents; her husband, Minister Charles Young, Sr.; one sister, Ruth Gladney and four brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory: six children, Linda Malone, Sheron Young (John)l, Beverly Harris (Isiah), Charles Young, Jr. (Taneshia), Stacye Young and Anthony Young; seven grandchildren, Sheneka Wiggins (Lucus), Marcus Malone, Toris Malone, Quinton Scott, Noyia Young, Kadedra Scott, Malik Nelson; six great grandchildren, Adrian Malone, Adaja Wiggins, Jabarie Wiggins, Karter Bell, Journie Bell and Makayla Wiggins; four sisters, Clara Allen, Margie Tucker, Minnie Scott, Dorthy Silva; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
