Frances Godwin McDonald, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. She was a life time resident of Birmingham, and a member of Eastlake Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas J. Godwin, Sr. and John E. McDonald. Her survivors include her son Thomas J. “Tommy” Godwin (Carol); three grandchildren, Jack, Shannon (Denise), and Debra Godwin; three great- grandchildren, Phillip (Kelly), Amanda, and Ryan Godwin.
