Frances Marie Holloway Goodrich, 88, of Richmond, VA entered Heaven on Wednesday, May 16, 2024. Born in Richmond, she was predeceased by her father, Ashton Holloway and her mother, Lillie Holloway Snyder. She is survived by her only sister, Christine Keener. Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband of 34 years, Willie Guy Goodrich. To cherish her memory, she is survived by her five children and one bonus daughter: Bonnie Robinson (Ted), Pat Owens, Debbie Elliott, Russell Goodrich (Bonnie), Doug Goodrich (June) and Joyce Rowe (Richard). Her life was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Frances was a 70-year member at Venable Baptist Church, later becoming Mechanicsville Baptist Church. She loved teaching the children alongside her husband, Willie. She was a part of the Women’s Circle and led in the Mission groups for girls. Her self-taught skills in sewing kept her children clothed throughout changing styles. She enjoyed family camping in Jamestown and the ferry ride across the James River to the Goodrich farmland. Her most favorite time was spent sharing a cup of hot coffee with those who loved her. She cared for people regardless of their background and was a fierce prayer warrior.
