Frances Marie Pope (nee Brocato), 87, passed away on March 7, 2019. Born to Salvatore J. Brocato and Rose Marie Brocato on November 21, 1931. She graduated from St. Mary’s Star of the Sea School followed by graduation from St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Commercial School in Baltimore, Maryland.
Frances married Harry F. Pope, Sr. on September 20, 1953 at St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church in Baltimore. A loving marriage which would last for 53 years until Harry’s passing.
She was one of seven lifelong friends who includes, Thelma, Nora, Sylvia, Cass, Irma and Lavern since the age of five. Now there is only one remaining… Thelma. All of whom graduated from St. Mary’s and would religiously make Novenas together.
Frances had a wonderful and loving sense of humor. Many happy hours were spent with family and friends. A member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church for over 60 years.
Frances is survived by her caring and loving brother, Joseph J. Brocato; her son, Harry F. Pope, Jr.;her daughters, Sandra Kronstadt, Gail Pope and Carol Butler; and her grandchildren, Eric Michael Kronstadt, Stephanie Marie Kronstadt, Sarah Elizabeth Theresa Baker-Kronstadt and husband Mark Baker, Laura Grace Pope, and Nicole Frances Pope.
