Frances M. Maurice, 79, of LaSalle, died at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Peru, where she had been a patient for 10 days. She was born October 19, 1927, in Peru to Arley and Hannah (Brown) Fulmer. She worked at Westclox for 20 years. She married Anton S. Tony Maurice on December 13, 1947, in Peru. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Church, LaSalle.
She is survived by: 1 son, Joseph (Helen) Maurice of Peru; 2 daughters, Barbara (Tomas) Weide, Sr. of LaSalle, and Marsha (Jeffrey) Ebener of East Peoria; 2 granddaughters; 2 step-sisters, Martha LeCompte of Oak Lawn, and Faye Conrad of Chicago. She was preceded by: her parents; her husband, Anton S. Tony Maurice on October 11, 1997; 1 son, Anthony; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
