Frances M. Mathews, passed away peacefully at home on August 20, 2014 after 98 years of a very fulfilled life. Preceded in death by husband of 70 years, Ralph; son, John; parents, William and Laura Schirtzinger; sisters, Bertha Stischok, Ada O’Brien, Eva Demattillo and Iva Dickson; son-in-law Robert Richmond and daughter-in-law Marsha E. Mathews. Survived by daughters Dolores Richmond and Mary (Jim) Jones; sons Ralph L. Jr. (Mary Kay), Joseph (Barbara), James, and Michael (Barb) Mathews; brother William Schirtzinger; Frances was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous grand-dogs and cats. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mt. Carmel Hospice, LifeCare Alliance and especially Diane Rogers for her many years of care and support.
