Frances was born in Newport, Michigan to Archibald and Victoria (Fix) Langton, she is survived by son Norbert P. Masserant, daughters Joan Marie (Gerald) Brogley and Jayne Ann (Michael) Wickenheiser, sisters Mary Masserant, Ann Whitaker, Theresa (Jerry) Geierman, Olive (Charles) Barron and Gertrude (Robert) Schafer,son in law Joe Ely, 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, she was preceded in death by her parents,daughter Mary Sue Ely in 1996, daughter-in-law Barbara Masserant brothers Amos, Irving, Joseph, Alton and Leonard, sisters Leona Langton and Margaret Eby, and grandchild Michael Masserant.
