Frances Laverne Webb Richie, of Palestine, Texas, joined her husband and our loving Lord and Savior in Heaven on Saturday, the 5th day of November 2022. Mrs. Richie passed away at Winfield Nursing Home in Crockett, Texas, at the age of 80. She was born on the 25th day of March 1942 to parents Benjamin Albert Webb and Hattie Mae West Webb.
Mrs. Richie was born and raised in Anderson County. She worked in the banking industry, where she met a lot of wonderful people that became close friends, before retiring. She was a faithful member of Norwood Heights Baptist Church and attended every Sunday before her health declined.
Mrs. Richie had a heart of gold and a loving spirit.
Mrs. Richie is preceded in death by her parents Benjamin and Hattie Webb, and her husband Larry Richie.
She leaves behind her sons, Don Ferguson and wife Robbie of Centerville, Texas, and Rickey Ferguson and wife Donna of Aledo, Texas; brother, Benny Webb and wife Carolyn of Colorado; grandchildren, Jamie Ferguson, Loren Ferguson, and Bryce Ferguson. Mrs. Richie is also survived by her nephews Allyn Webb and T.J. Webb, and many other relatives and friends.
