Frances L. Lichtenwalter McCoy, 92, Indianapolis, died April 23, 2007 at Marquette Manor-Indianapolis. She was born January 13, 1915 in Westervelt, Illinois, and resided in Indianapolis. She lived in Anderson 56 years, moving to Indianapolis in 1997. She worked in the Accounting Department at Delco Remy Division of General Motors. She was the secretary for Howard County Superintendent of Schools in Kokomo. Frances was a member of the Anderson Central Christian Church. She was a member of Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority and Anderson Garden Club. She volunteered many years at Community Hospital as a Pink Lady with more than 4000 hours of service.

She is survived by her sister: Doris Rayl of Sarasota, Florida. Nieces: Cindy Woodruff of Dublin, Ohio, Rita Gamble of Decateur, Georgia and Karen Luther of Charlotte, North Carolina. Nephews: Ellet Hoke of Manchester, Missouri and Brian Rayl of Toledo, Ohio. Also surviving are several great nieces and great nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married May 25, 1941: Oris McCoy who passed away November 10, 2002. Parents: Ellet & Luna Stanford Lichtenwalter. Sisters: Leah Cunningham and Mildred Hoke.
