Mrs. Frances Graham, age 92, of Newnan, GA passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her home. Frances was born in Salisbury, NC on April 8, 1924, to the late Thomas Monroe Ervin and Jettie Julia Graham. She was a homemaker and loving mother and is preceded in death by her daughter, Elaine Worth.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Graham; children, Susan (Greg) Emerson, Mark (Kim) Graham, Kay Graham, Dean Graham, and her grandchildren, Samantha Brady, Cody Graham, and Amanda (Tony) Rivett. Frances taught herself how to play the piano when she was five years old. She could not read sheet music but would just listen to a song and then play it. Her loving husband, Fred, knowing how much she loved music, decided to get her a Valentine piano on Valentine’s Day years ago. She loved to dance, sing and play the Suwannee Boogie on her piano. The family fondly referred to her as “Sissy” or “Aunt Sissy” and she loved spending time with them, especially during the holidays.
