Frances Juanita Cox Evans, age 80, is now walking the streets of gold after a long courageous battle with cancer. She passed from this life on August 21, 2013. She was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents Arch and Esther Cox of Lonoke and an infant sister. Survivors include her husband Freddie Evans; children, Philip (Tammy) Petre of Cabot, Becky Evans, Patti (Mel) Hill, Ronnie (Lori) Evans and Laura (Darrell) Park, all of Lonoke; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Darrell Cox and Betty Jean Baldwin, both of Lonoke.
