LAKELAND – Frances Irene Carroll Golon, 73, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013, as a result of respiratory failure.
Ms. Golon was born March 4, 1940 in Palm Harbor, FL. She and her family moved to Lakeland in 1943. She was the owner and operator of several, small, retail sales businesses in the Lakeland community over the years.
Ms. Golon is survived by her daughter, Alena “Beth” Golon; son, Stephen “Travis” Golon; sister, Joyce Ann Faircloth; and brothers, Donald and Leroy Carroll.
