Frances F. Scott, 79, of East Ridge, died Sunday, May 31, 2009 in an area health care facility. Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She was a Loving Mother and Grandmother and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, James Scott, two sons, Steven (Kathy) Scott and Joe (Pam) Scott, all of Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Michael Scott, Zach Scott, Matt Scott and Emily Scott; three great grandchildren, Sean Scott, James Carney and Jason Scott, several nieces and nephews.
