Frances (Dolanski) Fazzino, 102, of Middletown, wife of the late James Fazzino, passed away on Thursday, June 25th at Wadsworth Glen. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Olsewska) Dolanski. Fran had lived in Middletown since 1949. She and her husband owned Fran and Jim’s Restaurant in Portland. Fran also worked at Canberra Industries for several years, loved to dance and was an avid walker. She is survived by her sisters, Alice Heidenis of Port Charlotte, FL and Ethel Erickson of Madison; six grandchildren, Kathy Kogut of Middletown, Kimberly Archer of East Hampton, Karen Rooney of Piscataway, NJ, Steven DePaul of Annandale, NJ, James DePaul of Piscataway, NJ and Susan Sacca of Annandale, NJ; six great grandchildren, Laura St. John of Windsor, Jessica Hutchinson of Middletown, Haley Vignoli of High Bridge, NJ, Heather Pasternak of Rockaway, NJ, William Pasternak of Piscataway, NJ and Liam Rooney of Piscataway, NJ and several nieces and nephews. Fran was predeceased by her son, Robert DePaul; her daughter, Judith Kogut and seven brothers and sisters.
