Frances De Hoyos, age 58, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Frances was born July 12, 1960 in Raymondville, TX to Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo & Andrea C. De Hoyos.
She worked at United Launch Alliance, formerly Lockheed Martin for 30 years as a structural mechanic building rockets. In her time off she enjoyed barbeques, dancing and playing lotto scratch offs, she was a great fan of ‘The Heavy Grillers’ and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She also loved her furry animals and her beloved pig “Hammie”.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her loving and devoted spouse, Elsa, Siblings, Lupe Higgins, Gilberto De Hoyos (Jean), Mary Grummell (Leonard), Lorenzo De Hoyos Jr. (Sandy), Virginia Worsham Duncan (Frank), Rebecca Singleton (Matthew), Roberto De Hoyos (Sherri), sister in law, Yolanda Chavez, brother in law, Julian Hernandez (Elena), brother in law, Hector Hernandez (Yolie) and adopted son, Ronnie Hernandez (Letti), children, Alicia, Dannie, Lily, Devyn and Orly.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her eldest sister, Clotilda De Hoyos, brother, Raul De Hoyos, and brother in law, Joe Higgins.
