We mournfully announce the passing of Frances Clark age 74. Surrounded by loving family and friends, she went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 2, 2021. Frances was a lifelong resident of Villa Grove, IL.
Fran, as she was known by those close to her, was born to her loving mother Virginia, on January 3rd 1947. Fran was a strong and independent woman who conquered adversity. She truly believed that everything happened for a reason and she was always humble enough to turn circumstances into lessons. She was a kind and compassionate woman and a lover of all living creatures. Before she became a wife and mother, she worked in facilities maintenance at the University of Illinois.
Fran is survived by her husband Raymond Clark, son Raymond Clark Jr., step daughters Nancy (Will) Logan, Diana (Tim) Howard, granddaughter Bonnie Carter, great granddaughter Amara Tate and her fur baby Rosco. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces Laura, Tammy, Kelly and her great niece Debbie.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Catrina Clark, mother Virginia Richards and sister Joyce Raker.
Fran loved to cook and she was quite the storyteller. You always knew it was going to be a good story when she started out with “As I said…”.
