Frances Carolyn Pollard, 94, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 at her home in Senoia. She was born July 16, 1924, in Sharpsburg to the late Alvin Hammock & Clessie Phillips Hammock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, James “J.T.” Pollard, her second husband of five years, Howell Cook, and her grandson, Benjamin Trammell. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Hammock, Maurice Hammock, Phillip Hammock. Frances graduated from Star High School and was a licensed practical nurse at Newnan Hospital until her retirement. She was a longtime member of Senoia United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughters, Dianne Adcock, Jan Roberts, Joan (Steve) Trammell, Cathie (Ronnie) Kirkland; grandchildren, Kim (Clint) Smith, Cheree Gilbert, James (Natalie) Gilbert, Jonathan (Ashley) Wilson, Matthew (Laura) Trammell, Jeremy (Kim) Wilson, John Hunter (Nancy) Roberts, Morgan Roberts; great-grandchildren, Kennedy & Harper Gilbert, Jera & Aleric Smith, Lilia & McKenzie Trammell, Jenna (Andy) Wilson, Kamdyn & Kendyll Wilson, George Wilson; great-great-grandchildren, Cameron & Sophia Roberts; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
