Byrne1922~2022Frances Collette Byrne (née Coyle), age 99 of Garnet Valley, Pa., formerly of Upper Darby, Pa., passed away peacefully at home with family on February 8, 2022. Known as Collette, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, William, and her cherished sons, William and Daniel, and her 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving children, Richard, Collette Walsh (John) and Linda Byrne. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Joan, Christopher and Michael, and two great-grandchildren, Gino and Lucciano.Collette was born and raised on a farm in Butler, PA. She came from a large and close combined family of thirteen. She moved to Philadelphia after graduating from Butler High School. She married Bill in 1946, and they were blessed with sixty-five years of marriage. Together they ran the family business, Byrne Painting and Wallpapering. Collette was a loving mother of five children. Their youngest child Linda was born with Down Syndrome. She and Bill dedicated their lives to raising Linda at home.
